Good Morning Alarm Clock is a smart alarm clock that finds the optimal time to wake you up, keeps track of your sleep quality, and notifies you if you have a sleep debt.

HOW IT WORKS

Every night we go through different phases of sleep - from light to deep. The secret to waking up rested and feeling more energetic and alert upon awakening is to wake up during a period of your lightest sleep.

Good Morning Alarm Clock uses the iPhone’s accelerometer to monitor your movements while you are sleeping and detect which sleep phase you are in based on your body movements.

It creates a 30-minute window before the wake-up time you set and goes off within this window while youre in the lightest phase of sleep so gently that it feels natural to wake up.

In the morning, you also get a nightly record of your sleep in the form of a graph along with the essential stats.

If you are looking for a good sleep-tracking app, I suggest that you try this one. For me, it has been great!!!! Waking up at the right time has made a HUGE difference for me! When I wake up at the right time, between sleep cycles, I am not groggy and sleepy all day. I looked through a lot of apps. This one is simple to use, is cost-effective, has a lot of choices to personalize it to you, and is reliable. >>>AND, you do NOT have to wear an Apple Watch to use it!!<<< Since I charge up my Apple Watch at night, I cannot wear my watch for a sleep app!
I love this sleep app. It works great. The app price is a great value because of the challenges of programming a complicated iPhone app like this one.
I had a history of over sleeping. But once I found this app, that changed. I lost so many jobs because of me over sleeping or turning off my alarm in my sleep. I love this app.
ETA:Fixed!! Working well now as of 11/28!! This was a fantastic application, are used it every day. However since the last upgrade to make it work with iOS 11, it has not worked at all. Not even with iOS 11. I have to uninstall it and reinstall it every single night that I want to use it. I hope they fix it, especially since I’m using the paid version.
Easy to use - good sleep tracking - alarm wakes you up slowly
I just started using the Good Morning sleep app and I like it thus far. It is simple to use and the summary regarding the quality & duration of sleep is understandable & useful.

Some bad moments

This app was a waste of money it is not accurate at all. For example I was up multiple times last night to go to the bathroom to go get an ice pack etc. it said I slept great and never documented one time you being up and out of bed I would give it no stairs if I could.
Worked flawlessly until the update. Now I have to open, set it....close it out, and reopen to reset it. I also paid for the ad-free version, and have noticed some ads popping in. Not happy.
Several weeks of having to restart the app every night to set alarm is getting old.
I used to use this every day, but it now has too many glitches since iOS has been updated that it no longer works.
It never starts the alarm the first time I set it. I always have to close out the app, open it again, and reset the alarm for it to turn on. Every time. There also isn’t the ability to set a regularly occurring alarm. This feature seems critical to me. The app won’t allow an alarm set for weekdays for 8am each week. Instead I have to set it every night, very inconvenient. Almost unusable, as I have relied on the internal alarm clock lately. Additionally, it’d be nice to have a calendar to schedule alarms for early morning flights 30days out, for example.
I’m having the same issues with this glitch. Doesn’t respond at all sometimes ?
